It's not about right-brain, left-brain thinking. It's about taking a holistic approach to the projects I work on — grounding myself in understanding, gaining perspective, embracing the collaborative process, finding ways to test multiple ideas and iterations— to arrive at the most effective and practicable solutions. I gain particular satisfaction in finding ways to take complex problems and translate them into compelling, elegant, and rich user experiences. I am not afraid to approach problem solving by thinking outside the box. Over my career in Interaction Design and Product Management, I have learned how to leverage this dual expertise in order to cultivate a better understanding of the intricacies of any given design project. I am able to dig into my diverse designer toolkit to engage UI-UX best practices, and I understand what it takes to help inspire, organize, and propel product design.
